RoboCylinder - the actuator stops in the middle of the stroke where seems to be regarded as the home position.

The actuator could be overloaded. Homing is executed only with limited current which may not be sufficient to move the load. Check whether or not the payload is too much for the actuator, or if the mechanics need to be replaced.
