ISCPA3/4/6 – Cartesian high-speed robot for up to 6 axes

Dynamic linear handling system thanks to the cost-effective use of existing robot kinematics from IAI's modular small robotic system.
The ICSPA3-BN/BL, ICSPA4-BN/BL, ICSPA4-BBHZ and ICSPA6-BN/BL handling systems are cartesian arm systems with an innovative drive design and compact construction. They can be easily integrated in machinery and equipment and are based on the modular IntelligentActuator™ system from IAI, the Japanese world leader in electric linear axes.
The high-precision system has three (ICSPA3-BN/BL, ISCPA4-BN/BL) or five (ICSPA6-BN/BL) linear axes, where each of the X-axis is used as a high-speed axis with linear motor (BL) or rotating nut servo motor (BN), or with double slider in the case of the ICSPA4/6 system. The special ICSPA4-BBHZ 4-axis system is equipped with a SCARA robot module as the vertical rotary axis, taken from IAI's SCARA IX robot series.
The high-speed handling systems are suitable for quick reactions and positioning, as well as for dynamic handling and special machinery assembly operations. Operation as a stand-alone system is also easy – only one 230 V connnection and a PC are required. The respective XSEL controls are easily programmed using IAI's standard programming language, SEL.
With the multi-axis systems, a working volume of max. 4155x 400x 400 mm (BL) or 3000x 700x 500 mm (BN) can be achieved, whereby the integrated position sensor system allows a repeatability of ± 0.01 mm at max. 20.000 positioning points. With a maximum speed of up to 4 m/s (BL) or 3 m/s (BN) and a max. acceleration of up to 1 G, masses of from 9 to 21 kg (BL) or 9 to 40 kg (BN) can be moved.
The special ICSPA4-BBHZ system, equipped with vertical rotary axis, can be subjected to a max. load of 6 kg with a vertical stroke of 200 mm and complete rotation (±360°). Its maximum speed is 1.2 m/s or 2,200°/s.
