1976 IAI founded with capital of 8 million yen at in Shimizu-City, Shizuoka, Japan
1981 Began manufacturing and marketing of 4-axis seal applicator
1986 Began manufacture and sales of the product line IA IntelligentActuator.
1989 Founded IAI America, Inc. as a marketing and sales company in Los Angeles with capital of $30,000
1995 Founded IAI Industrieroboter GmbH as marketing and sales company in Germany with capital of 450,000 Mark
1998 IAI has been producing the horizontal articulated robot IX Scara.
1999 IAI introduced the RC RoboCylinder™, which has positioned electrical cylinders as an alternative to conventional pneumatic cylinders.
2005 IAI introduced linear motors (LSA) and table-top robots (TT).
